Turkey is located in Western Asia and Southeastern Europe and is not considered an Arab country. While Turkey has a diverse population that includes minority groups of Arab origin, most of the country's population is of Turkic origin.

The Arab world refers to the Middle East and North African countries where Arabic is the dominant language and Islam is the dominant religion. Turkey is not considered part of the Arab world. However, it does have strong cultural and historical ties to the region. It is a member of the Council of Arab Economic Unity.

It is important to note that ethnicity and nationality are two distinct concepts. Ethnicity refers to a person's cultural identity.

In contrast, nationality refers to a person's legal citizenship or belonging to a specific country. While some Turkish people may have Arab ancestry or identify with Arab culture, they are not considered Arab in terms of nationality.
