Seven Regions of Turkey

Turkey is divided into seven regions for administrative purposes:

Marmara: The Marmara region is located northwest of Turkey and includes the cities of Istanbul, Bursa, and TekirdaÄŸ. The area is known for its industrial centres, cultural attractions, and natural beauty.

Aegean: The Aegean region is located in the west of Turkey and includes the cities of İzmir, Manisa, and Aydın. The area is known for its beautiful beaches, ancient ruins, and delicious cuisine.

Black Sea: The Black Sea region is located in the north of Turkey and includes the cities of Trabzon, Ordu, and Giresun. The area is known for its beautiful coastline, mountains, and forests.

Eastern Anatolia: The Eastern Anatolia region is located in the east of Turkey and includes the cities of Erzurum, Kars, and Ağrı. The area is known for its rugged landscape, natural beauty, and cultural attractions.
