The Süleymaniye Mosque is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in the mid-16th century by the Ottoman Empire's most famous architect, Mimar Sinan, on the orders of the Ottoman sultan Süleyman the Magnificent. 

The mosque is one of the largest in Istanbul and is an important example of Ottoman architecture. It is located on a hill overlooking the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara, and its four minarets (tall, thin towers) can be seen from many parts of the city. 

The Süleymaniye Mosque is a popular tourist attraction and one of Istanbul's architectural masterpieces. It is still used as a place of worship for the city's Muslim population.
