Desserts in Turkish cuisine often feature sweet pastries and sweets made with honey, nuts, and dried fruit. One popular dessert is baklava, a layered pastry filled with nuts and syrup. 

Other typical desserts include Kunefe, a cheese pastry soaked in syrup and topped with crushed pistachios, and halva, a sweet made with sesame seeds and sugar.
