The majority of the Turkish people are Muslims, and Islam is the dominant religion in Turkey. The majority of Muslims in Turkey follow the Hanafi school of Sunni Islam, one of the four primary schools of Islamic law and theology. 

Muslims believe in the existence of one all-powerful and all-knowing God, known in Arabic as Allah. They follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the Islamic holy texts, including the Qur'an.

In addition to the Muslim majority, there are also smaller numbers of people in Turkey who follow other religions, including Christianity and Judaism. Many people in Turkey are non-religious and do not follow any particular faith.
