Area Guide of Adalar

Adalar is a district in Istanbul, Turkey, consisting of nine Marmara Sea islands. The community is located south of Istanbul's central neighbourhoods and is known for its beautiful beaches, forests, and historical buildings. Adalar is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike who enjoy the islands' natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

The main island of Adalar is Büyükada, the largest of the nine islands. Adalar is easily accessible from Istanbul by ferry, which operates regularly from various points in the city. The ferry ride to the islands takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the departure point. Once on the islands, transportation is mainly by foot or horse-drawn carriage.
